I was all set to attend the first VW event that I know of for the new year.  Buses By the Bridge in Lake Havasu City Arizona.  For those who have never heard about it, it is a camping weekend catered to the bus community.  No for the longest time, I have never been a "bus guy" but many of my friends here in town have a buses.  I never disliked buses, but they never really excited me either.  But when you are surrounded with buses, these guys tend to wear off on you! Grin

Well my wife and I were all excited to go camping and have some fun with VWs!  We checked our gear, bought a couple of things, and were excited about packing the dogs and kid up and chillin' out in the scerene beaches of Lake Havasu.

Well that fell through when a couple of personal things popped up, and I broke my finger.  I was bummed!  Well I didn't want to let the International VW Community down, when were all starved for our "VW Fix" during the winter.  I contacted Greg Blakeney, who I knew was headed to Buses By the Bridge.  He has agreed to cover the event for us!  Thanks Greg!

I have created a new gallery for Buses By the Bridge.  Greg will start us off with a lot of great pictures.  But ANYONE who has pictures can add them to that gallery!  It's super easy!

I can't wait to see what you guys post!

Thanks everyone!

I missed it too, had to attend a niece's wedding in Puerto Rico. Smiley Sad

But was there in spirit and since they do the polar bear thing by jumping into the river, I did the tropical bear and dove into the beach! Tongue

Pyro,
Thanks to GP member, Greg Blakeney, you (and everyone else around the globe) can see what you missed in Arizona this year.  Greg's article is on the main page under the Letter from the Editor.

Or you can click HERE.

Great Submission Greg!
