Congradulations David!  It sounds pretty good.  How does it drive?

Do you notice much of a difference between your aircooled engine and the watercooled one?

Hi Scott,

Yes!, it's a very big difference, takes a very short time to get 160 KM/H or 100 Miles per hour.

An example it's when i was on a freeway at 80 KM/H or 50 miles/h i acelerate to get into central track in only 5 seconds i get 150 KM/H or 94 miles/h.

I don't know how many horse power has, but at least it most have 150 HP.

On a few time i'll be tring on the 1/4 mile

Regards!

Hi all,

I have a few time with out post, but now i have some news, hehe

As you know, my car has only 6 psi on the turbo, and it woks good, but the engine was modify to get more than 20 psi.

I get some information about an aditional computer to correct the amount of gas depending on the turbo pressure.

Now I get it installed, so the turbo is generating between 13 and 15 psi.

a few weeks ago i tested the car on the speedway, but unforunely i went alone and nobody could film from outside.

The car made on 1/4 mile 15.500 seconds.

Not bad isn't it?

But i relized that one ring of the piston was damaged, so i was running the engine with only 3 pistons, hehe.

Also when i got back home i relized that the transmision was damaged (it wasn't my day).

Right now the car is on the workshop almost ready to go, hehe.

The transmision was repaid, unfortunely i didn't have the enough money to buy chromoly axles.

So in a few weeks i'll be getting my car back.

As soon as i can, i'll be posting a video from the copkit on the 1/4 mile track.

Regards!!

Nice job!  It sounds like it was a bad day, but as they say, "A bad day at the track is better than a good day at work!" Grin

Once you get your car back together and make the best 1/4 mile pass you can, there are Horsepower calculators available on the internet to find out how much power your engine is making.  Just be sure to weigh the car at the track too! Wink

I bet you felt a "good kick in the pants" with the 13-15 lbs of boost! Grin  NICE!

Congratulations!
