Welcome Don!

Sure, we can add a Type III forum!  Do you know some others that would come to the site and use it? 

Since you brought it up, what do you think the icon should be?  A fastback, notchback, or squareback?  (type III ghias are in the ghia section)

I might suggest making the icon the model that had the highest production numbers.

Anybody know what model type III had the highest production #'s?

more than likely it was the squareback...but it seems most folks like the notches.  I happen to have a fastback.  I have a couple of friends that I used to run with in the 80's that are getting back into VWs and one of them is a web surfer so I will let him know about this place.
