My buddy has a 71 bug with no decklid on it.  Which decklid should it have?  There are ones with 2 vents and 4 vents.  I told him 2 vents because a friend of mine has a 71 super and it has 2 vents.  He don't believe me.  which is it?

You are correct, and your buddy is wrong.  2 vents up to 72.  73+ had 4 vents.  But the decklids will fit interchangeably.  Grin
