My name is PAT. I live in Thailand, Bangkok.
There are plenty of VW but, most of them are late version.

I own a 1958 ragtop and 1957 bug here.

Very Nice Pat!  You like the Cal-Look.  Is it easy to find cheap VW's in Thailand?

Here are my 2 VW's... (1964 Kabrio)

and this is my other one...  (1966)

The Kabrio now looks like this:

For a full restoration. It would be 400000 - 450000 Bath or 10800 - 12100 USD.
the Most expensive type of VW here is Kamann Ghia! then Type2 23 window and split bug respectively.

Type3 is somewhat lack of enthusiast but, except for type3 Notchback!

Cal look and Old school are the style I like.

BTW, your 64 vert is cool man. Cabrioret is very expensive here. :-)

That right there is the prototype for RLR's bolt in bars. At the time they were NHRA legal to 10 seconds. Since then they have changed the rules. Now the bar is only good up 11.50. If I weld the joints coming off the main hoop it will be legal below 11.50

Rich Dickson Had to do it to his RLR bolt in roll bar to run S/C last season.

I plan on running 11.70's next season. Technically i am still legal, but we'll see if the hassle me.
