I seem to recall that the Palmers had an article published in Hot VWs a while ago about building a trailer.  I liked their design since it was simple and SMALL.  I'm not saying that I'm ready to build one yet, but I'd just love to see if I could fit one inside my garage with a bug on it.

Does anybody recall which issue that was?

Thanks!

Hey Scott, I know your post is almost a year old but do you still need info on the "Palmer". Style trailer? If so give me a call, we built 3 although not exact copies they were similar to their trailer. We also built 1 that was a little bigger with tandem axles and brakes as well.

Hey Thanks Gavin!  I no longer need that issue.  I've got a sponsor for that now.  Uhaul has sponsored me an auto transport, any time I need it.  It' great because I don't have to insure or house the trailer! Grin

The only problem I have now is that I don't have any time to race.  This working for a living sucks! Grin  Add to that my wife is 6 1/2 months pregnant, and her honey do lists get longer by the minute.  I'm lucky I'll be able to attend this year's Vegas event and I LIVE IN VEGAS! Grin

Thanks for thinking of me!

Awesome!  As an ex-teacher, I love hearing how families put their kids as the focus of their lives!  Imagine that?  Responsibility in parenting! Grin LOL!  The way I figure, the cars will always be there, but my kid will only be a 10 year old once.  I want to make the most of it.

How's Darrel doing these days?  Is he still working for PIAA?  Did he ever sell El Diablo Gris?

Take care,
