Thanks Scott, the specs are, 78x101 Auto Craft case, 910 heads, t3/t4 garett turbo, 750 cfm holley carb, RLR turbo set-up put together by myself, Dave Foltz tranny, Kevin Shull chassis. Car was built here on the Island. Before I was running an all motor 88x103, 910 heads, 58 carbs and was making 9:65 secconds in the 1/4 mile. Wow! 9.65 with Carbs?  Did you have nitrous on the car too?  That's really moving!

With the 8 second time slip, you'll be running what our Pro Mod racers are running up here!  Good Luck with it!

Thanks for Sharing!

Hi Scott , no I was'nt using NOS. Here our prostock class heads-up start, has a minimum weight of 1400 lbs. with a maximum engine size of 3000cc. all motor no NOS no fuel injection and the rest is the same as PRA. My first engine was from Jay Cee and than from Adam Wikk, and I have the slip to prove the 9:65. And at that time the Jay Cee's old car ( the last car he had) was competing too and was running 9:64 and 9:62 sec. Jack Sachette was flying frequetly over to help the guy with his former car, you can ask Jack he can confirm this. The car is still here, but not active. Thats why I switch from all motor to turbo because there are a lot of rotary and toyota's on nos and turbo there is even one rotary engined miata running 7:84 sec. But now we are brackett racing.   Cry Smiley Smiley  Scott, tankyou for the intrest and you can ask Ron Lummus and Dave Foltz of the car and new plans.

Wow Monty!  You sure are dedicated!  That's awesome!  Are there a lot of VW's racing over there?  I'm sure it would be a lot of fun to get the guys together to go take on the other imports (Toyotas and Mazdas).  That is really cool.

I'm sure I'll see some of those guys you mentioned here in Las Vegas in a few weeks for the final race of the PRA season.

Take care,

Cheesy Hi Scott if or when you see these guy's at the last PRA give them my regards and wish the all the luck and you can ask them about the car. And there are only a hand full of vw race cars, and a few vw street cars on the island.
