Welcome Rich!

Nice ghia you got there!  Are you new to the world of 1776's powered by kadrons?  I put 10,000 miles on my 66 Beetle (with 1776 & kads) in the last 14 months and I love it!  Now the car is getting a well deserved rest, because I got a company car now.

Thanks for sharing and welcome to German-Pride!

Been driving the 1776 w/kadrons for 7 years-sunday driver only. Decided to simplify things, bought new preset up AJ Kadrons. Kept SCAT linkage and only had to change out the CAM w/ball from old to new carb.  Mininal effort....Performance again, forgot what I was missing! Rebuild in store for old ones

Aren't you using the hiem joints from the Scat kit?  That's why I switched over to the Scat linkage.  I got sick and tired of the slop in the stock Kadron linkage.  It's terrible!

I'm currious if you got that vacuum port tapped on your kads for use with a vacuum advanced distributor?  I've heard some people say that it's the best thing ever, and I've heard others tell me not to waste my money.  I'm interested.  Undecided

I saw that and have read AJ website and others...I did not get the vaccum port tap.  Still running 009.  Guess I always have liked the necessity to keep revs up using the 009.  Always wonder if the vacumm would have a smoothing affect on decel.
