El Maestro - The Teacher

WWW

Hey guys!

Thank you again to everyone last year for allowing me to put on the most bad ass VW dyno session ever!  The participants, the sponsors, the spectators, EVERYONE made it happen!  For that I'm truly thankful and I can't wait to see the coverage in Hot VWs next month.

As many of you have already heard, I'm changing careers right now.  I'm leaving teacher to become a pharmaceutical sales rep.  This career change will not leave me with much free time for my first year.  I'm wondering if I'll have the time to put it on myself this year. Undecided

Well, if it's going to happen, it would have to be headed up by my lovely wife, Christine. (One of the ladies under the easy up's getting blown to bits last year Wink )  I have all my contacts for the sponsors, and all the forms I created last year, so I'm good with that.  But I need to know if you guys would mind working with my wife primarily instead of just me?

If everyone is cool with that, I'll "hire" her for the job.  If not, maybe we can take 2008 off and give it a go again in 2009. Wink

Also, I need some nominations for who you would like to see in the "Great 8" in 2008.

THANKS!

Well, Scott, I sat back watched all the trouble you went through just to set up the event, and you even relayed the troubles just prior to the event.

Luckily, now that i'm tied into my new career,  having missed out on everything last year, i'm totally geared towards a 2008 event. I even plan on entering (if this doesn't DQ me.)

I'd be more than obliged to help out in any area I possibly can to make this year the 2nd annual event. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to contribute to making this year even bigger than the inaugural event that I, sadly, missed out on.
