Once again, Lance Gregory, and Silver Bugget Racing will be having a Pre race/ Pre Fontana Drag-In party open to all VW racers and enthusiastes. The Clyde Berg/ PRA race is going to be at California Speedway in Fontana on July 22nd. Lances' party will be at his house in Mira Loma ( just miles from the track ) and will feature a 2 man Hoseshoe competiton, as well as the alway's popular .500 protree Bench Racing. Lance will be providing some B-BQ and Veteran
VW Drag Racer Jim Gillium will be there serving up his infamous beans. The party will start at 2- ?.
We will also be having a raffle with all the proceeds going to charity. We have already gotten alot of support from our local VW buisness'. Lance has said that he will have preferred parking for those that drive a VW to the event.

Hope to see you all there, and at the track!

Hey Rich I want to THANK YOU guys for helping out the Zamora family with your raffle.  Its GREAT people helping GREAT people.  For those that don't know, a friend of mine lost his 8 year old daughter last Friday.  The funeral and burial was just yesterday.

I apologize I haven't added much content to the site since the Classic, but I went full bore on getting sponsors for the Dyno Session and then I took the week to clear my head after Victoria's passing.  Here's a link to more info: http://www.cal-look.com/forum/index.php?topic=20297.0

I've been down for too long!  Let's have some fun now!

Rich,
I'm going to go through some of my work from photos I've taken this year.  I'll have a few of them blown up to 8x10 and I'll donate them to the charity raffle.  That will be in addition to the other items I already stated I would donate.

Take care,

So who is heading to Fontana this weekend?  I'm heading down on Saturday to have a good time with Rich, Lance and the silverbugget crew and friends.  The simi valley crew are promissing more records to fall if the track temps don't get too hot.  Anybody else looking to set some records (official or personal bests)?

See you at the starting line!

Fontana is supposed to have a high of 96* on Sunday.  Could be quite warm on the track.  I wonder how that might effect traction later in the day.

Can't wait to see everybody at Lance's place and at the track on Sunday!

Take care,
