So who went?  I was busy working in my backyard most of this weekend.

I hear that Richard Grise got his first win of 07!  That's really cool!  I met Rich last year at Lance Greggory's bbq party before the PRA Finals.  He was a nice guy to talk to.  I'm really glad for him.  He frequents this forum, so I'd love to hear his tales of the day.

In Phoenix Ester Holister (aka E-girl) wrecked her car, I was wondering if she had it back together in time to race at Sacramento.

Sacramento is almost sea level and the air is dense from my understanding.  It makes for prime conditions for HP to be made and for records to be broken.  Did any records fall?

Who went?  What did you see?  I'd love to know!   Kiss

Scott,
Thank  you for the kind words. E-Girl was back out and in the drivers seat w an N/A Motor. It was really good to see her and Dempsey back at it. Roger Crawford had a blistering 9.99 sec pass but I don't know if he was able to back it up. Now as for me, I was having a OUTSTANDING day as you may have heard Grin  I was pretty nervous going into eliminations looking at the names that I had on my side of the ladder ( I thought thing's were supposed to be easier as a number 1 qualifier) !st round I had to face Cory Saccette who always cuts great lights and has tons fo power inthe bank. 2nd rd was no easier going up against The legendary, and very gracious Berg Family. Doug cut a great light on me but the Bad Bergie Performance H.P was enough to chase him down where we had a little cat and mouse at the finish line. In the  Semis I had to face a pink turbo charged Manx ( sorry I don't remember the guys name ) But this guy was cutting good light all day. Now to the Finals Where I was matched up with fellow Silverbugget teammate and great freind Steve Atkinson. Unfortunately for Steve, He tried to cut to good a light, red lighting by -.266 to my .006rt ( my reaction was only good because I saw Steve leave and thought oh s--t I'm behind! ). By half track I finally saw the win light on the scoreboard and the party was on. What an awsome day. We as a race team also welcomed Jon(Jaegermeister)Schweers to our team on Sunday. He has been a great addition to team/family. I would like to thank my whole team and my family for all of the support they have given me winning or not. Also another thank's to you for the promotion and support you provide to the industry. Maybe try to plan a trip out for Fontucky, I think I will try to twist Lances' arm to throw another party Roll Eyes

Thanks' again,

Dude I am so sorry I missed it!  I didn't get to see many photos of the event yet.  I saw a few that Brian Watts posted up, but not all of them.  Since I moved to the west coast 6 years ago, I haven't been to a Sacramento event yet!  Something always comes up.  I never realized that it is a multi day event.  I thought that the Saturday night was just a TnT with whatever makes and models that show up for the track that night.

Anyway, I also heard that this is not only your first win of 2007, but your first win ever!  THAT'S AWESOME!!!  Grin  Good for you!  Now go kick their butts in Fontana! Wink

Take care,
