I'll be a busy bee this weekend!  As most of you know, I live in Las Vegas, and I will driving down to the track in Phoenix.  The drive takes about 5 hours.  However, I need to be here in Vegas on Saturday because my daughter has a softball tournament.   She'll be done around 7:30 PM.  It kind of throws a wrench into my plans to attend Doctor Detail's party.  Sad  Oh well, my kid is worth it!  Wink

Anyway, I'm armed with a press pass and a bag full of camera equipment.  I'm hoping to catch video of the first side by side 8 second passes in the Pro Mod race class.  Some of these guys are really pushing the limits and finding new ways to make more power!  I hope to get some more great "wheels up" and burnout shots.

Look for some new content on Monday or Tuesday after the event!

Any of our members going to the event?  I'll be at the starting line most of the day.  But if you see me in a white long sleeve T shirt with "German-Pride.com" on it, say "Hello!"  I might even have some free stickers to give away!

Rich,
I got a shot or 2 of your car on the track.  I'm going to spend some time tonight editing and hopefully posting up a new Phoenix gallery and an article.

It was pretty scarey watching Ester wreck!  Did you see it?

Hey Scott,
I saw you talking to Lance but I was running around trying to get the car ready for the next round. I missed E-Girl.  I was coming back to the pits when it happened. Jon Schweers (Jaegermeister) Told me what happened & I went runnig over. Thank Goodness she was O.K. My wife said it looked pretty scary. As you know the wind was playing games all day and made it REAL interesting at times down at the top end of the track. I talked to E later and even had a couple of "RED Cups "w/ her back at the Hotel, she was a liitle stiff but O.K.
Thank's for all you do for our hobby/sport!

Thanks for the kind words there Rich!  It's comments like yours that fuel my fire to build this thing we call German-Pride. Wink

Here's a shot of you on the track...

There's some more pictures of the Silver Bugget Race team in the gallery too.  Too bad Lance had fuel pump problems.  He's going to catch a break one of these days!

Take care,
