Scott, I have a Pertronix module in my 009.  When I was running a stock carb with a a working elec choke, it was stellar.  Fired up right away w/o hesitation, and ran great.  Now, with the DRLA's, it's a bit harder to start, but not bad.  Having no chokes does change the game a bit.  Any who.......the module works great, but some don't trust them.   Roll Eyes

Eric,
I looked into them a little more and there is a Ignitor and an Ignitor II set up available.  The second one is supposed to be more towards higher reving performance engines and has a different requirement for the resistance on the primary circuit in the coil.  I'm "hmming" and "hawing" over the idea, since this is my Hooptie.  I've done everything low budget on it so far, so I really don't want to sink $110-120 on the Ignitor II.  I'm thinking of just getting the original Ignitor set up (new or used) and running it until I finish my 2 liter with the MSD on it.  Grin
Take care,
