Thank you for the kind words! I take a lot of 'pride' in my work and I am VERY anal about how things work here. I've got a TON of more ideas, but I'm just 1 guy and with out the help of Eric Daniel aka AdminEric, I'd be even farther behind. Just wait till you see some of the new ideas next month. (Provided my busted finger doesn't slow me down too much.)

And once all of the members from all over the world find out how easy it is for them to add content, we will have event from all over the globe! I can't wait! It's so easy!
As for your pans, if they've got only surface rust on them, I'd be more apt to grind off the rust and then treat them with POR15 or some similar project. Then you'll only need to cut out that one rusted area and weld in a 5-6" patch. I'd take a screw driver and start poking around the other areas of the pan and see if the rust has really "eaten" the metal or if it's just surface rust.
If you're looking to make a show car out of it, then "yes" replace the whole pan. A happy medium would be a half pan replacement that replaces the area under the backseat where the battery goes.

But remember, you can trim this panel to a smaller size if you'd like. Sometimes guys feel that they need to use a whole replacement panel when they order one. Trim it to fit your needs.

Also, I've never seen any of these videos, but some guys thik very highly of the "Bug-Me" video series. There is one dedicated to pan replacement.
